The full title is "Nurdle and Stumpy Find a Door to the OutThere". Faery tales and faery folklore have lots of tales about doorways into the faery realm but not much is said about doors back out. So I wondered what the reaction might be if two little nature sprites unexpectedly found a door OUT of the enchanted woods...

Original is about 7x9 inches, painted in W&N watercolours on 140lb paper

Fantastic lighting. Great job creating a mood. I would love to see a follow-up piece (or several pieces) depicting scenes from the rest of the story (what happens when they walk through the door)
