It's been a long time since I contributed to the Children's Illustrators club. I've really missed having time to do the monthly challenges.

This is a bit of a different style for me - I've started taking a weekly children's illustration night class and, as well as working on character development, we've been encouraged to try different styles too. Ultimately all the students will be producing a character or characters for their own short children's story along with a storyboard and a mock-up of a finished book.

My character is coming along nicely and I'll be posting some of my work from the class over the next couple of months but for now this is my submission for
