Broccoli has always been my vegetable of doom. Just the look of the stuff makes me cringe. It's a miserable vegetable. There's nothing worse than having a meal in a restaurant and they bring the main dish, then the vegetables arrive - I'd be hoping for carrots, or peas, even cabbage - but no, the waiter lowers the dish and.....ARRGGGH! its green brains...I mean..er...broccoli....
