this is great! i love the greenman, and to see little twigletts growing out his nose, i must say that this is one of the more thoughtful renditions of our greenfriend!

Original, and good details on the foliage. I like what's related to mysteries of ancient forests, so...

Ah, Patrick Woodroffe. The first fantasy artist who ever made me want to alternatively be a fantasy artist or throw my brushes away because he was just way too good. It was 'Hallelujah Anyway' that started it all...

knew it.... you have just been elevated to best friend category on your meteoric rise to stardom.... He is one of the reasons I quit too... In a class of his own. I also love Jim Fitzpatrick and Alan Aldridge (moreso The Butterfly Ball Illustrations than the Beatles Artwork).. badly in need of returning to traditional media as it has a certain quality that I find difficult to reproduce digitally.....

Baby Steps....

Hallelujah Anyway.... The Mythopoekon and The Penteteuch of the Cosmology (Cover Art for a Dave Greenslade Albun - more like a book which I still have - was my introduction to PW!) I know exactly where you are coming from..... I loved Vallejo too but He misses a lot in comparison to Woodroffe! (What makes it all the harder to fathom is that PW is an Engineer by profession and not an illustration per se....

He got into lighting design too and was responsible for (among other projest) Jean Michelle Jarres' Rendezvous London....

Even more glad now to have met you - Hallelujah Anyway! :)
